Twas
the Night Before Christmas
Jim MacLellan
December 2008
‘Twas the night before Christmas, darkened by sin.
This Man, I resisted to know.
But a glimpse of His light, shined hope deep within,
He called and I wanted to go.
‘Twas the night before Christmas, the door opened wide.
A new stirring I felt deep within.
His Voice spoke with wonder, I couldn’t resist,
He called and I ran after Him.
‘Twas the Day after Christmas, O what can I say
A new freedom that’s in His control.
Christ, the Gift, is the Giver, My treasure, My all,
He leads satisfying my soul.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
